The 2nd Annual Toronto Freedom Festival, which is set to take place May 3th at Queen's Park. The Festival will foster an environment for the celebration of ideas; while providing a forum for dialogue surrounding cherished freedoms.
An awareness area at the Festival will showcase organizations at the forefront of defending Human Rights. With groups promoting social justice through equality and advocacy action being given an opportunity to present their message to a young, interested audience.
The one-day festival will run from 12pm ? 9pm on May 5. Confirmed musical acts include: Sydney Blu, Chameleon Project, King Sunshine, Kenny Glasgow, Manzone & StrongHouse of David Gang, Down with Webster, Ko Paches and more.
"A person's choice may not be the same as someone else's, but their freedom to choose should be. Mark Emery has been a champion for the marijuana movement. We encourage everyone to join us in this year's festivities, and celebrate their freedom to choose" added Gavin Bryan, Co-Producer of The Festival.
About the Toronto Freedom Festival
For almost a decade Queen's Park North has welcomed peaceful events, parades and gatherings. The Toronto Freedom Festival has been developed in the hope of allowing for additional groups to expose themselves to thousands of forward thinking individuals.

Given the turmoil that erupts regularly in the Provincial Legislature, it's ironic that behind the building rests one of Toronto's quietest parks. Queen's Park has virtually no recreational facilities other than picnic tables, making it better suited to those in search of a quiet stroll than a pick-up game of football. Summer weekends generally see the park occupied by some special-interest groups, as permits are doled out to those in search of a bit of green to frame their event.
Visitors to Queen's Park who want to tour the Legislative Building can take the free guided tours. Phone (416) 325-7500 for tour schedule and reservations. All visitors must check in at the Main Information Desk in the front lobby.
