Hip-hop here, from Florida rapper/producer Mota
The lyrics tell the story of an incarcerated Gangster type, regretting doing whatever it was to get him put on lockdown. Nice production, but nothing very inventive. The beat's a little simplistic and the five-note piano hook doesn't really change too much throughout the course of the track, but the lyrics aren't so bad. It's not gonna set any dance floors alight, but then tunes about prison rarely do (apart from Jailhouse Rock, perhaps!) - this one’s more for the blunted-up, head-nodding living room chill-out session. |
