Fly Nightclub, Toronto?s premier gay Nightclub is proud to celebrate Canada?s new statutory holiday, Family Day (Monday February 18th) with Grammy Award Winner and one of the originators of the Classic House movement, David Morales on Sunday February 17th.

David Morales is considered to be one of the first "Superstar DJs". Larry Levan was the first to recognize the potential for success in Morales, and he was soon a popular regular at The Loft, Paradise Garage and The Sound Factory.

In November 2004 Morales released his second album, 2 Worlds Collide, released on Ministry of Sound's record label, Data Records. The release contained his infamous hit, "How Would U Feel" which features vocals from Lea-Lorien. He is part of the Def Mix collective, alongside partners Frankie Knuckles and Satoshi Tomiie.

He has worked with successful and famous artists including: Madonna, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, U2, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and his most important partnership, Mariah Carey for his reworking of her song, ?Dreamlover? which Slant Magazine named it, ?One of the greatest dance songs of all time.? He?s popularized remixing pop songs into house songs.

Morales also contributed to a variety of compilations including Ministry of Sound's Sessions Seven, United DJs of America Volume 4 (Def Mix) and with the retrospective collection Mix The Vibe: Past-Present-Future.
